Spitfire Basketball Academy

Last summer, for two separate weeks, I had the pleasure of hosting the first-ever "Spitfire Basketball Academy." This week-long day camp focused on teaching basketball fundamentals and, more importantly, having fun. We ran drills, played a variety of skill-development games, had contests with prizes, and played 5-on-5 games every single day. Over the course of each week, the degree of improvement and level of enthusiasm I saw from every participant was truly impressive!

 

I’m currently working with the City and the TVDSB to secure a space to run the camp again this year. I’m hoping for the last two weeks of July, and I’ll be in touch with registration forms as soon as we have some firm information about the dates and location. This camp will be for kids in Grades 5, 6, and 7 (i.e. kids entering Grades 6, 7, and 8 in Fall 2023). Please email me at spitfirecamps@gmail.com if you have any questions.
